1.Are you currently working as bartender and how long did it take to get your first job?
I am currently working as a bartender at a Restaurant/ Nightclub thanks to GBS. After completing GBS it took less than 1 weeks to get hired at my first job.
2. How did GBS help you land your first Job?
GBS helped me landing my first job by providing me with job interviews and a great resume & job hunting workshop. I learned how to write a bartending resume, interview tips, and job searching tips. GBS gave me all the resources I needed to go out and find a bartending job that was perfect for me.
3. Did the skills you learn at GBS help you be successful bartender?
Yes. all of the skills and tips that I learned at GBS made me feel extremely prepared at my job. I learned customer service points, up selling, how to properly use bar equipment, and how to use a POS system. It was very helpful to have the opportunity to practice all the techniques beforehand.
4. Why did you choose GBS and how would you grade your overall experience?
I chose GBS because it was a high rated bartending school on yelp. The website was very clear on days, times, and had many great testimonials from other students. I am more than happy with my overall experience and would recommend this class to anyone wanting to become a bartender.

Owner/Founder Nino Nunziante, a former bartending school graduate, noticed some ways to improve the bartending school curriculum. Bartending schools did not fully prepare students. There is so much more to becoming a bartender than the same old; this is the bar, these are the drinks. Every single section is carefully developed by a team of current bartenders and managers with deep industry connections to produce the best product possible. One of the biggest concerns to Nino was that no schools offered POS training aka computerized cash register training. How can someone be ready to bartend if they have no idea how to do the most important part besides make the drink correctly, THE MONEY TRANSACTION! Using these complex computers can be difficult and will stop you from ever bartending. Knowing how to operate a computerized cash register is a MUST. GBS is the only school that incorporates REAL computers, students are prepared to ring in that cash and not have anything holding them back. There is no bartending without the hours of training it takes to master the computerized cash register (POS), learn with us!
