Bartending Certificate Upon Completion
2 WEEK AM CLASS: Monday-Thursday 9:30am-1:00pm (8 classes at GBS, 9th class is Live Service Training)
2 WEEK CLASS PM: Monday - Thursday 6:00pm-9:30pm (8 classes at GBS, 9th class is Live Service Training)
2 Week Class Afternoon: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-5:30pm (8 classes at GBS, 9th class is Live Service Training)
1 WEEK CLASS: Monday-Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm (Same as the 2 week classes, just longer hours per day. 5 classes at GBS, 6th class is Live Service Training)

WHAT DOES GBS PROVIDE?
GBS is so much more then just recipes! Become a pro Bartender with a complete knowledge of up to date cocktails, Point of Sales System training (a must know), up-selling techniques, customer service, strategies to rapid success, our legendary mock service test, written test and all the tips and tricks from our active Bartenders and Managers. Learn how to Bartend from the best and be years ahead of your competition. GBS also provides “live service training” at the end of class. This is bartending to the public at one of our partner bars and getting real bartending experience! You can not beat the real thing! We run this training as a competition with the winner getting a spot at one of our paid events!
Students also receive : Membership to our Bartender Staffing Agency with job interviews all over SD to qualified students. The most important part of GBS arguably is our Job workshop described by 2 college professors as a full college semester in 1 lecture. This lecture includes everything someone would need to know in getting the job over someone with “experience”, building the perfect resume (Students resumes are evaluated by instructors to make sure they are done correctly), what managers are looking for, how to create strategy’s for interviews, how to prepare, how to sell your values, where and how to find jobs and sooo much more. Also you will be Bartending our paid, public events at REAL bars (El Chingon, Gaslamp Fish House, Sidebar, American Junkie, Atomic, Bassmnt, Off Base Bar and more), lifetime of refresher classes, access to our private jobs listing page and job coaching. Learn the inside of a managers thought process to hit all the green flags and avoid the red flags.
Payment Plan: We will keep a card on file but it will not be charged, must be a active debit or credit card.
We Simply break your final payments into two. For the 2 week classes; first half is due first class, second half is due the following Monday. 1 week class: final payment must be completed by Wednesday.
*Due to limited seating in class, we do not offer refunds but do keep your credit towards your next class. If you can not make your class that you signed up for, to keep your credit, you will need to pay for the class on the date of your original class in full. Your class credit is valid for 6 months. You can pay by card over the phone.

Gaslamp Bartending School Owner/Instructor Nino Nunziante has been in the industry since 2002 in both the east and west coast and still bartending to this day. A local that takes GREAT PRIDE IN EVERY STUDENT, he is also the Winner of the 2018 "Beast of the Bar" and 2017 "Beast of the Beach", Awarded to the top bartender in SD. Nino has won several awards thru out his bartending career. With over a decade of bartending experience, Nino also has years of experience managing bars both as a General Manager and a Bar Consultant. Being in this industry since 2002, Nino uses his connections to get his students behind bars thru out SD for paid guest bartending shifts, creates events for his students to bartend and uses his relationships with bar managers to get students job interviews and hired. The connections that GBS has gives our students a one-of-a-kind experience, something that will change the reputation of bartending schools forever.

“GET CERTIFIED”- THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A OFFICAL OR STATE BARTENDING CERTIFICATE OR BARTENDING LICENCE IN CALIFORNIA. There is simply a certification of completing a school, GBS gives the same exact certificate as everyone else. But we refuse to sell this lie that every school does, its a misleading trick to make people think they MUST be certified to bartend. ASK ANY BARTENDER OR MANAGER ANYWHERE! That being said you definitely need a Bartending School with the proper tools and training or you will go nowhere fast or be a looking a several years in lower tier positions (aka a lot less money). We at GBS are ACTUAL CURRENT BARTENDERS AND MANAGERS w/ decades of experience combined from across the country, we know what were talking about, a certificate is not a real thing. If a school is lying to you already imagine what to expect. We do believe a certificate of completion representing your hard work is great but by no means does “getting certified” get you a pipeline behind the bar.
